Tachi's line of embroidery and prints, were very fashionable during the 1940's, and with the influx of war and post-war tourism, business started to grow rapidly.
By the late 40's Tachi Castillo was known internationally.
The 50's and 60's brought along many opportunities for expansion, such as private-labeling. Tachi's designs were produced under the name of "Mexicana" in London, "Fred Leighton" in New York, "Panamerican Phoenix" in New York, "The Phoenix" in Washington DC, "Dos Cabezas" in Arizona, and many others.
